Tuckers Crib Bedding

YAY! I am so excited that Tuckers bedding is done. It makes it all seem so real now for some reason. David's Mom made it for us and I absolutely LOVE it. It is exactly how I pictured it in my mind. She brought it down for us last night when she and David's Dad brought David home from the airport. I was so excited that I wanted to put it all on last night, but I wasn't feeling great so I waited... much to my dismay. It was really funny this morning because David didn't want me to put any bedding on until he lowered the mattress to the second highest position instead of the highest. It concerned him a little how close to the top it was. It didn't bother me at all, but having it lower doesn't bother me either so I let him do it to ease his mind. Then I got to put Tuckers bedding all together and it looks fabulous. Just like a little boys bed should look... in my mind at least. I didn't expect it all to be done so soon, so it was a pleasant surprise when my Mother-In-Law told me that she was going to bring it down with her. Here are the pictures of the final masterpiece. :)
This Is The Skirt
The Picture Kind of Makes It Look Purple-ish, But It's a Navy Blue in Person

I absolutely LOVE the quilt
Isn't It So Darn Cute??? :)

I Love The Simple Look Of It

Now all we need is a little baby to finish off the look. But, as much as I am tired of being pregnant, I am willing to wait until he is done cooking so he can come to our family healthy and happy. Don't worry, there will be LOTS of pictures of our little baby boy in this crib as soon as he gets here! :)

You will find that when Tucker is brand new that he hardly moves at all and having the crib mattress high will save your back as you put him in and take him out over and over. You will have plenty of warning from Tucker when he is getting ready to have that mattress lowered. No worries about that.
The bedding looks great!

I love it! It is adorable! I am very impressed that your mother-in-law made it. It kinda has a sailor look to it (probably just the navy and white). Really cute though.

i like the colors and the quilt. i'm glad it's not overboard as some of my other friends have done to their baby rooms!
