The Ringing Stopped! I honestly don't think I've prayed so hard for something as small as ears to stop ringing. However, in the situation it doesn't seem so small. I literally pleaded with the Lord last night for the ringing to stop. I was starting to think that life was NEVER going to be the same again. But alas, I woke up this morning in a much better place.
I have learned that pregnancy is an interesting thing. There are definitely days when I think to myself, "I don't know how women have done this 12 and 13 times." INSANE! I'm thinking that we might just have one really spoiled little boy. The only reason I know that isn't true is because we both really want a girl also. So, who knows! :) Tomorrow I have a Dr.'s appointment, so hopefully all is well there! My weekend adventures poses a few concerns. Although it was a fun weekend. :)
Friday evening we went down to Corvallis to have dinner with our friends Kim and Chris. We have made it a goal to hang out with them at least once a month, even after Tucker joins the group. :) They are just so much fun! So we met them at a DELICIOUS Japanese Sushi restaurant called Auomatsu. Mmmmmmmmm, we LOVE that place! I was doing okay at dinner. My ears were ringing, but not too bad, so I was in decent shape. We then headed over to Kim and Chris's where Chris set up a rousing game of Texas Hold'em for us. It was so funny. We walked in and he had set up a table with Poker Chips and cards all ready to go. It was too awesome! So we played and I totally lost, I'm really good at that. Right about the end of my chips I started to feel REALLY sweaty and light headed. But, I insist on playing Black Jack because I am better at that than Hold'em. Except for that night. I just got too dizzy and the room was spinning. So I quickly lost my chips and laid on the couch. We soon realized that it was only 8:30 and we were all kind of tired. So we talked for awhile to let my head kind of settle down and my stomach. Kim and Chris were so nice. They kept offering me things to try and make me feel better. They were so nice. David and I headed home around 9:45. I made it home okay without puking, and safely into bed. I am glad that we had a fun Friday evening because Saturday all day was spent suffering from ringing ears and nausea. Although, later in th evening Tucker was doing some MAJOR somersaults (he has been doing them since Friday morning), and David FINALLY got to feel the strong movement. It is only the second time that he has felt a real movement and not a hicup, and I LOVE the look he gets on his face. He gets such a giddy grin. He's so cute! Today was better than yesterday health wise, we went to church (the second two hours because I didn't feel great this morning), and then came home and laid on the couch all day. In Relief Society today I was watching my friend Emily's baby while she taught the lesson. Her name is Addie and she is dang cute! She's about 7 months old and has such a happy demeanor. At one point I picked her up and she totally went for my chest. She first buried her face right into it, and then started tugging on my shirt. It was hilarious! I just kept saying, "Mine don't work like Mommy's do." And my friend Heidi sitting next to me just kept laughing. Ah, kids are so darn cute! :)
I can't end this post without giving a shout out to my wonderful husband. He did everything that needed to be done yesterday. My Dad brought one of their recliners up this week so we rearranged the family room to fit everything. It was hard because I so badly wanted to get up and help but between my ears ringing and the fact that I can't move furniture, I didn't do anything. David was great and made no complaints of doing anything. And again today he was so great. He made dinner tonight and rubbed my back for me. This morning I was joking around and asked him to get my hair straightner, and make-up, and mirror and fill my water for me. And he didn't respond so I thought he knew I was joking. So then I add to the list and say, "While you're at it, can you go to the bathroom for me to please?" He gave me a laugh and said, "If you have to go to the bathroom I'm not going to get all of that other stuff for you." It surprised me that he was going to actually get that other stuff for me. I felt like if I made him do that I would have been taking advantage of him. He's so good to me. So, thank you David for being SUCH a good husband. I LOVE YOU!

1. My ears have not stopped ringing since playoffs (basketball. I never even thought to pray. I have been to 2 specialists that both said, "oh, they'll stop when they need to". I'm like huh?!?!?!? It's annoying to have ringing in your ears 24/7 for months on end. But thanks, I'm going top ray about it now.
2. I played poker for the first time this weekend and it was fun.
3. I hope you're feeling better!
i hope that you are feeling better my dear! arent we lucky to have found husbands that make life that much easier?
Glad to hear that you are doing better today! Good luck at the Doctors and be sure to let us all know how things are going!
Glad the ear ringing has gone away! I can imagine that it was hell! haha. And trust me, when I was preggers (remember, I had a 10pound 7 oz baby!) I was huge and miserable and thought I can never do this again. But it really is true, once you hold that perfect little baby in your arms for the first time you completely fall in love and cant wait to do it all over again. Love really does make us do some crazy things I guess! :) I love you!
