11/7 – The Temple

I am so grateful that David and I live so close to a Temple, and that David’s parents live close as well so they can watch Tucker for us. :) This morning David and I were able to go to the Temple with our ward and do Sealings. This is the first time that David and I have done sealings since our own sealing. It is was so nice to be able to be across the alter from David again, and this time with a lot less emotion behind it. I was able to sit and really listen to the blessing that we are able to receive and they are fantastic. David and I couldn’t help but laugh as we knelt at the altar because we both remembered our own sealing when David said Yes at the wrong time. It was so hilarious, and made for a funny memory. :) I look forward to the following months as David and I continue with our monthly trips to the temple. And I appreciate my in-laws and their willingness to watch Tucker so that we can attend the temple.
