"There is no one perfect way to be a good mother. Each situation is unique. Each mother has different challenges, different skills and abilities, and certainly different children. The choice is different and unique for each mother and each family... What matters is that a mother loves her children deeply and, in keeping with the devotion she has for God and her husband, prioritizes them above all else."

11/3 – Naptime/Schedules

Today I have decided to be grateful for naptimes/schedules. Some days it is a pain in the butt, like today it was slightly inconvenient because I was trying to get some stuff done at a friends house. Tucker did really well, even 45-minutes after his naptime, but then he started to melt down. As hard as that was, I would rather deal with him melting down because he is tired and know that when we get home he will go down, than have him freak out and not go down at all. Schedules are fantastic, even at bedtime because he goes down at 8:00 and wakes up at about 7:15. Ah, we should have started this sooner! :)

It is good to see Baby Wise and scheduled naptimes save another mother from insainity. What a great idea to write what you are thankful for every day. I just might give that a try on my blog.
