11/13 – LDS Missionaries

Oh how I love missionaries. Actually, it’s not the missionaries that I love so much as the work that they d0. Having served a mission, the work is that much closer to my heart. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, the work is that much more closer to my heart. Having a Dad that is a convert to through church through the efforts of missionaries, makes it even more closer to my heart. Such an amazing work being done. It takes a special spirit to teach the True Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people on the earth today.

My Dad was recently called to serve as the Ward Mission Leader in his ward. He was kind of intimidated by the calling at first since he did not have the opportunity to serve a mission. But in the few short weeks that he has been in the calling I can tell that his testimony of missionary work has grown that much more! David and I have had the opportunity to have the missionaries in our home multiple times and it is such a great spirit that enters with them. We have yet to have them teach someone in our home, but the time will come.

I am so grateful for missionaries and pray for them constantly that they will be safe and protected. I pray that they will find those that are ready and willing to hear the True Gospel of Jesus Christ and that those people will welcome them into their homes. I appreciate the sacrifice that is made by these Young Men and Women everyday to serve our Heavenly Father.

Missions are the best. Especially in Micronesia.
