I was thinking about what I could be grateful for today and David blurted out, “Indoor Plumbing.” So, indoor plumbing it is. As I thought about it, I realized that I really am so grateful for indoor plumbing. Think about it… Middle of the night, gotta pee so bad… with indoor plumbing all you have to do is get up and go to the bathroom. HOWEVER if you didn’t have indoor plumbing you would have to get up, put on socks and shoes, grab a coat, go outside, do your business and then come back in and dress down for bed again. What a pain that would be. Even more, could you imagine having to potty train a toddler with NO indoor plumbing… BRUTAL! So today I say, “Hats off to you, Thomas Crapper, for making our lives easier!”

Yeah indoor plumbing is definitely something I appreciate as I have been getting up about 3 times a night now.
