It can't already be...

October!! Where did September go? If time flies when you're having fun, then my life is going to pass before my eyes.
We have been so busy this last month. School started for David, and he is enjoying his classes. It's a little different this semester than others for a number of reason.
1) Now, on top of his classes, he has a job that requires alot of his time and energy, on and off the clock.
2) No more fun classes, it's all about core classes now.
3) 3 more semesters and he's DONE!
It is crazy that he is actually almost done. When we got married, I knew he had two years left and didn't really think anything of it. Now, it's weird to think of. The only life we have ever really had together has been here in Corvallis, as a broke college newlywed couple. And this time next year, if all goes well, we'll be living somewhere other than here (hopefully), and I'll be at home with a brand new baby or pregnant, while David is working! AGH! Insane to think of! Kind of scary to enter a life we've never known. I guess that's marriage though, full of unknowns! And we love every minute of it!
September was not so eventful for me. Pretty much the same old stuff. My job is going really well. I am learning everything quickly and every day am gaining more responsibility. It's nice to know that they trust me enough to give me more! :-) Then, there are the days when I wish that I could be so unreliable that they don't give me anything! Oh well!
The highlight of our month was at the very beginning when we go to go to California for our niece Taylor's blessing, and we also got to be there for our niece Cali's 1st birthday! It was so much fun. We drove down on a Friday and had a surprisingly good time in the car. I say surprisingly because if you know me, you know that I am not a good car traveler. But, I am getting better. And, I just read the August e-mail and realized that I explained it all in that one, so refer to August for the rest of the story! :-)
We are looking forward to this month. With football season in full swing we are both enjoying the weekend games. I am even enjoying them some, to a point. I will watch them with David, and eventually migrate to the bedroom to read or watch something else. But I try! Last weekend I was in bed all weekend with a bad cold. David went to the game and I remember thinking to myself, "Yes, I can watch whatever I want." So, what do I watch... "The Beaver game because it was broadcast on television." Oh well! I was glad to watch it, even though it ended in a terrible loss. Sunday I didn't make it to church, so David went alone. When he got home, I was on the couch and we started watching the Seahawks vs. Niners game. I was born and bread a Niner fan, marrying a Seahawk fan almost resulted in disownment! Not really, but sure makes it interesting when they play each other. While lying on the couch David asked me if I wanted him to go and get my Niners shirt for me so I could wear it. I said, "No thanks, they'll win whether I wear it or not." I should have worn the shirt! Oh well!
As for the rest of life, it is great. We are excited for Conferece this weekend. We have the BYU channel on our cable now, so we are having some friends over to watch it and make breakfast. They best part of conference is the pajamas. :-) I love to take notes and just soak it all in! One of our friends that is coming has a little baby named Madeline. Oh, she is SO cute and David can't let her go. He loves to just sit with her and hang out. They are pretty much buddies. We have another couple coming over who's baby is about a month old now, so I don't know what David is going to do with two babies to choose from. I have attached a picture of David hanging out with Madeline one evening when we babysay. :-) They are so cute.

Well, we hope that everyone is doing well. The rains have started here in Corvallis, so hopefully wherever you all are it's beautiful! If not, rain and snow can't be that bad! :-) We love you all and can't wait to hear from you soon!
Love,
Jenn and David
