Christmas Week

This was a good week, even though we had a looooooooooooong drive from Salem to David's parents house in Tigard on Tuesday night. What normally takes 45 minutes took us 4 1/2 hours because of the snow on the roads and the ice and all of the other people trying to make it to the Portland area. Fortunatley David's Dad had come and picked us up, so we were in a car with AWD and could make it through. We spent Christmas with David's family and we enjoyed ourselves. Like I said in a previous post, my favorite part of Christmas was on Christmas morning when David, Tucker and I were laying in bed and Tucker was wide awake and as happy as could be. We learned that when we our out of our element Tucker is a HUGE Mommy's boy. He's not used to too many people so when it gets to be too much he just wants Mommy. Which, I don't mind, but I do wish that sometimes he would be happy with Daddy, but in time. :) We were able to see David's best friend Scott and his wife Abbie and their little girl Ella. Ella is 9 months old and she and Tucker seem rather close in size. :) She is pretty darn cute though. We got a very cute picture of David and Scott with their kids. It's rather priceless if you ask me. :)

On Friday afternoon Tucker had a Dr. appointment for a rash thing that he has going on in his boy area. Turns out he has a yeast infection (didn't know boys could get those) and he has thrush (a yeast infection in his mouth). Poor baby! I started to feel awful, but the Dr. reassured me that this is very common. Tucker was also weighed that day. Are you ready for this... on Friday December 26 Tucker was 5 weeks and 2 days old, weighing 13 lbs 1.5 oz. The Dr. obviously is not concerned about Tucker eating enough and gaining weight. He said that he is definitely a healthy boy. :)

David's Grandma and Grandpa Mosby sent money for Tucker for Christmas so David got this outfit for him. There is a jacket that goes along with it. It's the cutest little warm-up outfit. Although it would be cuter if it was the Kings. :)
