1 Month Old

Wow, I can't believe Tucker is already a month old. It's so crazy! Part of me can't remember how it was before he was born, and part of me can't believe it's already been a month. It's been a fun month though. I thought I would share with everyone some of the things we've learned this last month. Some of them were expected and some kind of random. :) * Waking up to a crying baby has a different effect than waking up to the music of 99.9.

* I can now type pretty darn fast one handed while nursing. :)

* When turning left onto a busy road, we aren't so quick to gun it between cars.

* We no longer determine how long we stay somewhere... Tucker does.

* Tucker is awesome because he will take any bottle, formula, breast milk, and still nurses without problems.

* I had a baby 1 month ago, I'm not going to be back down to a size 10 for awhile... if ever! (I'll get dang close, that's for sure!)* Formula is dang expensive. Thank Heaven for WIC.

* We pay a lot of money for Tucker to poop in diapers. :)

* I love that Tucker is a Mommy's boy, but sometimes wish he would be a Daddy's boy.

* David is one of the GREATEST Dad's in the world.

* Our favorite time is taking naps together in the bed. David sleeps with Tucker on his chest and I cuddle up next to them.

* Babies require more than anyone cold imagine.

* Tucker loves to have his diaper changed as long as he isn't hungry.

* Tucker enjoys bath time, again as long as he's fed. He loves to dangle his foot in the water off his little mesh thing.

* Tucker is learning to enjoy the lights on his swing.

* Sleep is precious now.

* Mylicon drops are Awesome!

* Housework now takes the back burner to Tucker.

* It's okay if I don't get a shower in before his afternoon nap.

* It's okay if I nap when I can.

* Nothing better could have happened to us this year than having Tucker come to our family.

I'm sure there are plenty of other things we have learned, these are the only ones I could come up with right now. We are taking Tucker tonight hopefully to see Santa for his 1 month picture. So I will try and post the outcome on here tonight. :)
