It's Official... I'm Cooking The Turkey This Year!!!

Finally we get to tell the world... WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY IN NOVEMBER. YAY! We found out the day before Easter and are so excited. We wanted to wait to tell the masses until we heard the heartbeat. This afternoon we had our Dr.'s appointment and our Baby's heartbeat is going strong at 160 bpm. It was a stubborn little thing for a minute because it kept moving around. But, eventually it settled and we got the heartbeat. So everything is looking good. Everything other than the fact that I can't have chocolate anymore because it makes me sick to my stomach, as well as Taco Bell. Although, that could really be a blessing in disguise because Heaven knows I don't need those calories. :)
We probably won't be able to find out the sex of the baby until early July. So we decided that until then we are calling the baby our little parasite. We came up with that nickname mostly because I have been really nauseas and tired and this child is sucking everything good out of me. My Mom isn't a huge fan of that nickname, but what can you do. It won't stick after we know if it's a boy or a girl. Once we find that out we'll call it by a name.
Our official due date is November 22nd. It looks like we are in store for a little Turkey so that is exciting. As much fun as it would be to go into labor on Thanksgiving, I'm hoping that this baby comes early and not late. :) Although it would be my luck to sit down to a full plate of delicious Turkey and all the fixings just for my water to break. Oh well!
It is very exciting for us to be able to finally start our own family. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a Mom. When I was younger, and even now, I am always stealing other people's babies in Relief Society, and now finally I will have my own for other's to steal. :) What a blessing it is going to be to have such a wonderful gift in our home.
