Baby Update

OH MY CRAP! This 8 month old baby weighs 41 POUNDS! No joking! Feeling sorry for this Mom. I googled baby images and this was one that came up. CRAZY! Here is the link to the web site that has the story. Check it out, it's INSANE.

OK enough about the obese baby, onto another baby that we PRAY is not so obese. :) I had another Doctors appointment on Thursday. It went really well. I decided that I wasn't going to eat lunch before I went because the scale always seems out of control when I eat lunch right before I leave. Really what can I expect with that food on my stomach, but still, it's not fun. Anyway, so I leave an hour early so I can run some errands. I was doing pretty good until I was almost to the appointment and then it hit... if I don't eat something RIGHT NOW I am going to kill someone. Anyone who's been pregnant knows what I mean and how I was feeling at that point. Anyway, so I stop at 7-11 (a Boehrer family favorite) and get a water and a lunchable so I could have the cheese and crackers. I was bummed, but the scale wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. Phew!

Anyway everything is well with the baby. He/She is kicking right along with a stron hearbeat of 152 beats per minute. That's down 8 from the last time so he/she is growing right along. The Doctor measured my stomach and said, "You sure are starting to poke out there." So I asked her if that meant I was just getting fat or if it was the baby. So she poked around on my stomach and told me that it is baby. She joked with me saying, "Maybe it's twins." Yeah, not funny! That would just freak me out. Although that means I would only have to be pregnant one more time. YAY! I am glad that I am starting to poke out more now because I hate that thought that people think I am just getting chunky! :) My next appointment with Dr. Morcos is on June 30th, and then we find out what the baby is on July 12th (Happy Birthday Uncle Mike). So we are VERY excited.

Now, I have to throw a little bit of a discalimer in here. See, when I got home from my mission I weighed ALOT more than I do right now, and even more than I did when I got pregnant. So this whole weight gain thing is hard for me to swallow. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't keep me from eating what I need (want) to eat, but I struggle with it. So I don't want anyone to think that I am one of those people that think anyone who gains weight for any reason is awful. I am not! Seriosuly if I was, then I would die from glass shattering on me in my glass house that I am throwing stones through! :)

Being prego is so fun! (well, most of the time...) And don't even think about the weight gain, half of it comes right off when the baby is born, and You'll be so busy taking care of it, that you'll burn the rest off! ;) luv ya!!!
