HAPPY (belated) MOTHER'S DAY

I know that I am a few days late, but better late than never right? :) I got to spend half of Mother's Day in California with my Mom which was so fun, and the other half in Portland with my Mother-in-law which again was so fun!
I have been holding on to this quote from one of my daily LDS Gems so I can share it for Mother's Day...
"There is gratitude for our mothers.
Mother, who willingly made that personal journey into the valley
of the shadow of death to give
us birth, deserves our undying gratitude.
One writer summed up our love for
mother when he declared,
'God could not be everywhere, and so He gave
us mothers.'
While on the cruel cross of Calvary, suffering intense pain and anguish,
Jesus 'saw his mother, and the disciple
standing by, whom he loved,
he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy
son!
Then saith he to the disciple,
Behold thy mother!' (John
19:26-27.)
What a divine example of gratitude and
love!"
(Thomas S. Monson)

I have to give some amazing credit to my Mom for everything that she has done for my brothers and I. She sure put up with a LOT from all of us, yet she still loves us all today. She is an amazing woman, and a WONDERFUL Grandmother to all of her children. I can't wait until my little baby is born so he/she can meet their AMAZING grandmother and feel her love in their life.

And, I can't forget to send out some love to my Mother-in-law who has raised an amazing son, whom I am fortunate enough to be married to. I tell ya, she definitely put up with alot with David, the little Turkey! I appreciate everything that she has done for us.

I also can't forget all of the wonderful women that have influenced me in my life. As I sit and think about the wonderful opportunity that I have to be a Mother soon, I am that much more grateful for all of the examples that I have been blessed with in my life. Thank you to ALL of the wonderful women! I wouldn't be who I am today without all of you. :)
