2007 - What a Great Year

Seeing as it is now December 15th, and I haven't gotten a December e-mail out yet I thought I would combine it with a "Year-At-A-Glance"! :) David and I had a great year. So much good happened and we have learned and grown together so much. Here is a short look back at The Mizes in 2007...

January: I am really excited because at the beginning of this year I made a resolution to e-mail all of our friends and family once a month to keep in touch and... I DID IT!

February: David and I celebrated our first Valentines Day. David was in charge and made a GREAT Steak Dinner, got me flowers and Caffeine Free Diet Coke (I wasn't drinking caffeine then), and we watched "Must Love Dogs" (our "movie"). It was awesome. We also bought our first LARGE piece of furniture this month... our couch. We love it still!

March: We headed to Utah to visit David's brother and his family. We were also able to see my cousin some of my cousins. It was a blast. One of the best parts was being able to go to my mission reunion. It was SO good to see everyone again. :)

April: David's best friend got married, so we were in Portland for their wedding.

May: The BEST moth of the year... my birthday! I turned 26 and David treated me like a Queen for the day. It was the best. We also headed to California for the blessing of two of my nieces blessings and to celebrate all of the May/June birthday's. It was a fun month.

June: Busy month. I was in California twice... once for my best friends Dad's funeral and ironically my niece was born that weekend, the other time was for my nephew Joshua's baptism. They were good trips. We were also able to go to the OSU Beavers Super Regional Baseball Games where we beat Michigan. It was a lot of fun. David got a new job as the Assistant Manager of the Rec Center on Campus. We also were able to see our friend Jenn get married at the end of the month.

July: We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the 1st, YAY! We spent it on Portland at OMSI, it was a lot of fun. David turned 24 on the 10th. He went golfing with some friends and then they all came over for pizza. I applied for and got a new job, now working for Clair Co. We got into OSU family housing and moved at the end of the month.

August: We traveled to Pendleton in Eastern Oregon to visit David's and be there at the Community College when they named the court after David's Grandpa Mosby.

September: We headed to California for the blessing of Taylor Renee`. Her middle name is after mine. :)

October: Pretty boring month. We had lot's of Football games to go to, and that was fun. We were in Portland for David's Dad's birthday and his Nephew.

November: We headed to California for Thanksgiving and had a REALLY good time. David had the chance to "practice" interviewing at Cintas and Intel.

Well, that's about it for our year. I'm sure the December Holidays will bring MANY more memories for us as well. We'll share them all with you next month. I hope that you all have an amazing and wonderful Holiday Season. I know that David and I are excited to celebrate this season together. We wish that we could be with all of you. We love you all!
