Well Tucker has officially conquered the crib tonight. He has climbed out. This means that we will be purchasing a toddler bed tomorrow. So, I am needing any and all advice that I can get. I am NOT ready to battle this out. I just don’t have the energy. HELP!

save your money on a toddler bed. They are just the same side as a crib. Just invest in a twin bed.
As for keeping the kid in the bed. there will be many night you will have to spend in his room on the floor, to get him to stay, or out in the hallway. -- that's speaks from experiance.
Also spend some $$ on a bed rail, that will help too. I think Target & Sears have them, but it's been awhile since we have gotten one.
Also start a verys trict bed time routine. So he will learn when to go to bed.
Yep, skip the toddler bed. Just use the bed you have and put up a guard rail. That's what we did and they loved the 'big bed' idea.
It works!
Both are kids were moved to a bed before 2 years and we prefer it to crib. Show a lot of excitement with Tucker for his new bed and be consistent in walking him back to bed at night if he gets up. I actually still have to do it occasionally with Bryce. He will get the hint that he sleeps in his bed. :) Good luck!
How exciting (for Tucker that is!). My boys were each around 18 months when we gave up the crib. We had a trundle bed in their room and just used the bottom pull out bed; so even if they rolled off, it was only about 12" to the floor. Good luck! Sounds like you are really enjoying your new house.
