Tonight 9 of my friends and I headed up to Portland to participate in the 32nd Annual Portland 5K Starlight Run. It’s a big thing in Portland, a TON of people come out and line the streets to cheer the runners on. So, a few months back I e-mailed some friends and we all decided it would be fun to do. And fun it was! :) I finished with a time of 41 minutes even, and I can’t complain about that. It was honestly so good for me to do. I have always wanted to participate in a run of some sort but never felt like I was in good enough shape. So, being in not great shape even right now, it was great to be able to go and finish it! :) Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment…
My good friend Carrie and I. Not only is she just a darn good friend, but Tucker LOVES her, and her daughter is Tucker’s favorite babysitter. Pretty much we love Carrie and her family! :)

So Jealous. My family and I were going to run the Starlight run, but some of us got sick and others had to go out of town so we decided against it and now I'm sad. So glad you got to do it and have fun with the rad Battlecreek ladies. Good Job!
