9-Months Old and First Boat Ride

8-months old

Is that not he cutest little boating baby you have ever seen? I sure think he’s cute! :)

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any cuter…Mommy and Tucker on the boat

We went out to Detroit Lake last night with our friends Bruce and Erin. They were kind enough to share the fun boat toy with us. :) We had so much fun and lot’s of laughs. David made an attempt at wake boarding, not the word attempt. He put in a good solid effort. I did not try wakeboarding because my shoulder is still so jacked up. Erin of course got up without any problem, she’s a pro. :) I did go out on the tube and that was a blast. I didn’t fall out at all until the boat stopped and I fell out forward. It was fun. David did the tube and he did well, but he ate it HARD at the end. He flipped a couple of times and I think it hurt him more than he let on. But, in the end we were all alive and well.

Tucker did SO well on the boat. He loved just watching everything that was going on. Once while the boat was stopped I put Tucker in the water on the back and he loved it. Tucker loving the waterThis was pretty much the permanent look on Tucker and Chase’s faces while the boat was moving.Tucker and Chase Sellers (2)It was a lot of fun and hopefully the weather will cooperate again that we enjoy the boat again before next summer. :) Thanks Bruce and Erin for a fun evening.

Tucker had his 9-Month check-up yesterday. He did so well. If you missed his stats they are in the post below this one.

I can’t believe how much growing Tucker has done developmentally since he turned 8-months old. It’s so crazy! He went from only rolling around to scooting, crawling, climbing, walking along furniture, trying to climb up on the furniture, got 2-teeth, saying “Hi” “Mama” “Dada” “Baba”,   trying to avoid bedtime, and so much more. It’s so much work for me, but I love every minute of it. He is getting smarter and smarter every day. I’m amazed at what he continually figures out on is own. He is so much fun and I can’t wait for all of the days of exploring ahead.

That looks like a lot of fun. I can't believe how much he is saying! Hope bedtime gets better. Carson is easier at bedtime than naptime, he fights those too.
