This is my favorite picture of the week. I love that they are sleeping EXACTLY the same way. The both have their left arm extended and their right arm down, head cocked up and to the right and mouths open. My two favorite boys. I love them! :)
I realized that it's been awhile since I've done an actual update! So, since I am fighting off a headache right now, and Tucker doesn't want to take a nap, which in turn means I can't take a nap, I thought I would update the blog. Here goes...
David...
David has been busy busy with work. With all of the changes that have been going on, we are grateful that he has a job to be busy busy at. So we don't complain when the long hour days come along. He travelled to Portland this week to visit one of the facilities, and later this month he might be traveling to Arizona to do another training meeting and visit some more facilities. He enjoys his business trips because it allows him the opportunity to meet the people face to face that he talks with daily. The longest he's been gone is over night, and that was last year before Tucker was born. So, if this Arizona trip turns out to be a few nights, I might make my way down to California. We'll see...
In David's down time he is hoping to start doing some more golfing. He really enjoys it, but hasn't been able to do much of it. Hopefully as things settle down at work and everything evens out, he can make it out more often.
Jenn...
I have been busy busy with my calling at church and taking care of Tucker. I am enjoying my calling in the Relief Society, mostly because it allows me the opportunity to continue to get to know the Sisters in the ward. Tucker is keeping me more and more busy. He is enjoying getting everything that I don't want him to get, and definitely has a determined personality... I LOVE IT! Tucker and I go to the gym every morning, and he loves it. Everyone at the childcare there knows him by name, and they all love him. It's nice to see how they love to see him, because then I feel better leaving him there with them. I am trying really hard to get back down to where I was, weight wise, when I got pregnant with Tucker. I am not quite there yet, but I am closer than I was 7-months ago. :) My goal is to be at a certain number by Tucker's 1st birthday, and I know I can do it! :)
Tucker...
Oh my goodness, he changes every day. He's rolling everywhere... literally everywhere. No matter where I put him down, in a matter of seconds he is all the way across to the other side of the room. It sure is cute to watch him go though. He is obsessed with chords. Any time he sees a chord he just stares at it, or tries his hardest to get it. He loves it when I blow dry my hair because the chord bounces everywhere as I move the dryer around. He just laughs. He is not crawling yet, but he is figuring out how to get up on his knees. He is finally over his awful cough, it seemed to last forever. He is back to sleeping well through the night. Everyday he is definitely the highlight of our lives. He waves like a pro now, and does it out of control when he sees David or I come home from anywhere. It is so dang cute! :)
Here are some random pictures of the last couple of weeks…
