Colds… Boo!

Tucker has had a cold for the last two-weeks. We have had some long nights. But he is getting over it. We took him in yesterday because his cough was getting really phlegmish. The Dr. said it’s just because everything is breaking up now. Last night was a much better night. He woke up once, I gave him his binky, and he went right back to sleep. The best part was yesterday he took a 4-hour nap… so did Mommy and Daddy. :)

While at the Dr. yesterday Tucker got weighed and… he’s getting bigger. He now weighs in at 24 lbs. 12.5 oz. Yup, he’s a big boy! :) The Dr., as always, is never concerned with his weight. Because Tucker is getting so tall also, it’s not a big deal that he is weighing more. If Tucker was gaining weight and still was only 24 inches, then we would have a problem.

Now that Tucker is rolling both ways, life is getting busy. He loves to be on the floor so he can roll and get whatever he wants. Just when we think that something is in his way for him to roll… he proves us wrong. Even though he’s been sick, he’s still in a good mood. He isn’t to fond of solid foods right now, or his bottle for that matter. But he still loves his kisses and loves from Mommy and Daddy. Here are some pictures from this last week.

This is one of those times that we thought he wouldn’t be able to roll over. He doesn’t let anything get in his way. :) We have since taken the poles off of the mat and it’s now his play mat. :)

He found this ball that spins on his walker, and he was so intent on figuring out how it works. It was so cute. He is SO much more curious of things now, we love it!

Tucker and I went down to Kim’s baby shower in Springfield on Saturday. Kim is due with a baby girl, Hannah, on May 19th (the best day of the year). We’re pretty sure Tucker and Hannah are going to get married. :)

This is an AWESOME picture. The little boy next to Tucker is Kim’s nephew Dane. Guess how old he is… 1-HOUR OLDER THAN TUCKER! Yes, they are exactly the same age. Born on the same day in the same hospital. So crazy the difference in size. Tucker looks like he is 4-months older than Dane. Dane is freaking cute though. He is such a happy smiley little baby. :)

This is what happens when you leave a baby boy naked on the bathroom rug. That wet spot by his left hand is pee. Yup, he can sure shoot it. David always thinks it’s OK to leave him naked… silly Daddy! David had more bad luck changing diapers yesterday. He took Tucker’s diaper off in the family room and as he started to wipe him, Tucker started to poop again. It was disgusting, and hilarious at the same time. :) I didn’t feel too bad considering all of the times Tucker has barfed on me. :)

This is how cute Tucker is when he cuddles his Daddy! I love it when he folds his hands like that.
