Viva Las Vegas

Oh how I love Las Vegas. Seriously, there is never a dull moment in and around Las Vegas. :)
Last Thursday David and I flew out to Las Vegas to visit two of my brothers and spend Easter with them and their families and my parents who made the trip out there as well. We learned our first lesson of travelling with an infant Thursday night... Don't travel late at night it just disrupts their sleeping. SO... lesson learned!

Friday morning we got up and got all 10 of us ready for the day. By about 11:00 we were ready to hit the streets. We headed up to a new Casino called "M" for their buffet lunch. It was SO good. All of the food was delicious and it didn't all taste the same. They even had delicious sushi. :) We had to wait in line for about 40 minutes but it was well worth the wait. By the time we were done with lunch it was 2:00. So we headed home for some rest/nap time. That night once the kids were in bed we played SkipBo. Has anyone played that game? I absolutely love it! It's fun and social.
Saturday we got up and once we were all ready we went to the park. All of the kids rode their bikes and flew a kite. The adults were able to just sit and visit. Tucker was a good boy, except he had a little bit too much time in the sun and got a little pink. He didn't seem to mind too much though. That evening we went to my brother Dan's house and the kids all got to color eggs. They had a blast! Then, that evening David and I went to ice cream with our friends Andy and Jeri who live in Vegas now. It was nice to have some time to ourselves because my Mom and Sister-in-law Rachel watched Tucker. It was probably the worst night for us to choose to go out because Tucker was exhausted and TOTALLY freaked out! Poor kid. Once I got home, as soon as I held him he calmed down. All he wanted was his Mommy. :)
Sunday we got up and my nephews found their Easter baskets. We went to church with the family and it was so cute to see all of my nephews in their church clothes. They are all such little studs. :) After church my brother Dan came over with his family and we had a delicious dinner and an Easter egg hunt. It was so fun to spend time with the family. Tucker had fun watching his cousins and playing with them. His cousin Marianne, whom he shares a birthday with...2-years apart, weighs the same as Tucker. It's kind of funny! :) Later that evening we played Skipbo again, and a little round of name that tune. My good friend Seana came over with her husband and little girl. It is always good to see Seana. I wish that we lived closer together.
We had a great time hanging out with the family. I always love visiting Vegas, not so much for the city, but because of my family that is out there. It is always so much fun with all of them. David and I really enjoyed ourselves and my favorite part was watching Tucker interact with his cousins and just watch and play with them. Having kids is so much fun! :)
Here are some pictures from our trip and last week.

I love Vegas too, isn't it fantastic? That's good to know about the traveling because Jeff and I are flying to Orange County in a few weeks. Tucker's tie is so cute, I got the same one for Carson at Children's Place.
