warning: long post, but mostly of pictures… and they’re CUTE!
Tucker Mosby Mize
My goodness, I can’t believe that our little boy is already 5-months old. Some days I feel like the time has gone by so fast and other days I feel like he should already be a year. But everyday he gets bigger, smarter, more independent, and more handsome (if that’s possible). Everyday I tell him how much I love him and he looks at me and smiles. Such a good boy. So here’s a break down of everything Tucker does now… (side note: the above picture makes Tucker’s vest look black and his socks look really blue. I PROMISE his vest was navy blue and so were his socks!)
- Rolls over from front to back… YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!! (see video in previous post)
- He smiles all the time. Literally, all we have to do is look at him and he smiles. Unless the camera is around but he’s getting better at that.
- Has a very strong grip. Once he gets his hands on something you have to pry his fingers open.
- Pushes himself backwards in his walker.
- Thinks he is just hysterical. He always laughs at himself. He lays on the bathroom rug every morning while I shower and I hear him just laugh at himself constantly. It’s dang cute.
- Drools ALL the time. He has drool bombs regularly. I’m pretty sure he is well on his way to getting some teeth. We will definitely get pictures of that process.
What have Tucker’s Mommy and Daddy been up to?
Friday night we went on our first alone date in almost 5-months. David took me to Red Lobster (delicious), then to rent a movie and get snacks. It was so nice to have some alone time. I did miss Tucker but I knew he was in Very good hands. THANKS PAYTON (and Morgan, Carrie and Brad).
David has been…
-working
-watching the Blazers in the playoffs (he’s so excited)
-working
-playing with Tucker
-working
- and… working
David’s been busy at work keeping everything running smooth. Every other week he has a different regional in the office that he has meetings with. Those weeks usually consist of a few later evenings and sometimes early mornings. He loves his job though and the people he works with so it’s not so bad. In the evenings he comes home and relaxes with Tucker during Daddy time, so it’s a good release for him.
Jenn has been…
- cleaning
-taking care of Tucker
-playing with Tucker
-story time
-cooking
-working out
-and busy with callings
I have finally found a workout routine that I love. Monday and Wednesday and Saturday I do a group spin class for an hour and I love it. Tuesday and Thursday I do 45-minutes of spin and 1-hour of Group Power. Group Power is a whole body toning class with barbells. It’s awesome! If I keep up with this I’ll be back into my skinny clothes in no time. :) Other than that I spend my days hanging out with Tucker and living the dream. :)
