Crazy Little Tucker

This last week was rather uneventful for the Mize household. Since Tucker has been fighting off this nast cold we stayed in for the most part. On Monday afternoon I went to the mall with my friends Kristi, Brittany and Joo Lin. We headed to Children's Place because they were having some good sales. :) You know you're old when you get together with your girlfriends to go to a Children's store. It's fun though.
The rest of the week was spent keeping Tucker on his nap schedule so he can get better as quick as possible. He is slowly but surely getting better. The awesome part for us is that even though he is sick... he is still in his smiley happy mood all of the time. We are so blessed with him and the happy spirit that he brings with him everywhere.
Tucker's thing now is just falling asleep on his own the couch. His bedtime is between 8:30 and 9:00. We usually get him ready for bed around 8:00, and give him his bottle around 8:15. Once he is done with his bottle if he is asleep we put him in bed. A few days this last week, he wasn't asleep after the bottle. So, the first night this happened David and I brought Tucker into his room, laid him in his crib, said our prayers, kissed him and closed the door. As we were walking down the hall, David said, "I will give you $100 if he falls asleep." I agreed. About 15 minutes later, I calmly look at David and say, "What should I do with my $100?" David was shocked that Tucker has just fallen asleep. It was glorious! He did that 3-times this week. Of course I won't get $100, but it's that much better to know I was right. :) Tucker really is such a good boy. We love him so much and are having so much more fun with him everyday. He sits in his highchair now while we are eating dinner. The other evening as I was starting to say the prayer Tucker started banging his toys on his tray. So I reached over and grabbed his toys and he got MAD! He slammed his hands down on the tray and just looked at me. We couldn't help but laugh because he was so serious. He's so freaking cute though. :) I had to teach Relief Society today, so this last week as I was preparing my lesson, Tucker was so good. He would play on the floor with his toys while I was working on my lesson. Happy as a little clam. Here is a picture of where he ended up at one point... his new favorite place to play...

Peek-A-Boo!

What? I'm innocent! :)
Saturday evening was our friend Kristi's birthday so we went to a bowling alley to celebrate. It was so much fun. Tucker loved just watching everyone. Here are a couple of the pictures that we got of him there...
Hmmm, which ball should I use...

Ahhhh, yes... the Orange one.
On another note, I am slowly but surely re-doing mine and David's bedroom. I have already gotten new bedding and I LOVE it! However, I'm not going to post anything until it is TOTALLY done. But, I am taking step by step pictures. :)

We'll end this post with Tucker's latest way of sleeping. I walked into his room yesterday morning and this is how he was asleep. I tried rolling him over on his back, and he just groaned and rolled back onto his side. Such a little cutie! :)

Before I rolled him over...After I rolled him over, and he rolled back.
