That's right. Today was my first official Mother's Day as a Mommy. It was a fantastic day! David got up with Tucker this morning and brought him into bed with us. He also came with presents. Tucker had an adorable little pink swirl box and a card. He thought he was the King of the world with this cool new "toy". Much to my pleasant surprise my gift from Tucker was a fantastic gift card to Victoria's secret and an adorable card. :) Tucker and I hung out while David went to "get a bottle for Tucker". And pleasantly enough, he came back with eggs, sausage and toast for me. (He eventually got the bottle for Tucker) He also had another gift for me. This time it was Victoria's Secret "Love Spell" scented Body Butter, Body Mist and Body Moisturizer. :) Can you tell I love Victoria's Secret. :) The whole day was all about me and what I wanted to do. I got to watch whatever I wanted on TV and do what I wanted. It was great. I think every day should be Mother’s Day. :) David made a delicious dinner of Grilled Chicken, Pasta and Salad. I was definitely a QUEEN for a day! I hope David knows he’s now set the standard high for Mother’s Days to come. I think he forgot that I still have a birthday this month… :)

TUCKER UPDATE Our little man is quite the adventurer now. He has discovered that there are things on the bottom shelf of our bookshelf that he can reach. And reach he does. The funny part is that he doesn't usually reach with his hands, he uses his feet to pull things off. :) Such a little goof! He is also mastering sitting up. Each day he gets stronger and more stable. Last night while he was sitting up, we thought he was about to tumble forward but he had an amazing save and brought himself upright again. We were very proud of him. He is quite the acrobat in his sleep as well. He used to sleep on his back with his arms straight above his head. Now, when we turn on the monitor picture we have no clue what we will see. Sometimes he is sideways in his crib, sometimes he's on his side, and lately his been on his stomach with one arm above his head, and the other one stuck under his chest. It's so cute! We are trying to introduce a sippy cup with juice. I bought a cup that has a top similar to a bottle, but we don't hold it for him. We let him hold it and try and figure it out. So far he just plays with it, but that's fine with me because it doesn't drip. :) Hopefully he'll really get the hang of it soon. We go in on the 19th (my birthday) for his 6-month check-up. David and I think he's slowing down on his weight so it will be interesting to see where he's at there. But, we are pretty sure that he grows an inch every day. He's stinking cute! Tucker is such a social baby. My Aunt Debbie and my cousin Maggie came to visit Friday afternoon. Even though Tucker had never seen them before, he took right to them and had all sorts of smiles for them. It was SO cute! I was so glad that he took to them so well. We can't wait to hopefully go and visit them in Seattle this summer.

We are going to California the 3rd through the 8th of June because Bryan and Monica are getting sealed (YAY). So it will be so fun to see Tucker interact more with his cousins. He loves kids now because they are people "his size". I can't believe how grown up and big he is getting. But I am loving every day of helping him and watching him learn more things and discover the world around him. Here are a few pictures…

So big. And cute. And funny.
So cute! I'm glad you had a great Mother's Day, and I love the picture of the "No Shame!"
Such a good Momma!!!
The first Mother's Day is so fun! That's so neat that Tucker is sitting up now. I can't wait until Carson can do that. I feel like he will become a lot more independent when that happens. You'll have to come visit us again when you are here.
