We invited David’s parents down for dinner in December, so I thought it would be fun it we made and decorated sugar cookies for us all to enjoy for dessert. So after church I whipped up a batch of homemade (Betty Crocker) sugar cookies and we enjoyed decorating them. One thing that has been really fun this year, is that Tucker is old enough to really enjoy doing these things. I can’t wait until Bailey is at this point, and then we will really start making some crafty messes. :)

The Final Products
Another tradition that was started last year, was going to see Santa down at the Riverfront Carousel, and then going for a ride on the Carousel. Last year was somewhat of a failure, but we wanted to give it another go this year. Much better results this year. Tucker actually sat on Santa’s lap (once Bailey was there), and he even told Santa what he wanted for Christmas (remote control lightning). It was a fun evening. Tucker got to ride the carousel twice with Daddy, and he was as happy as could be.
He LOVES the Carousel now
I Just Think She Is Too Pretty For Words
Our kids were extra good this year and got to see Santa twice. I figure, they have been through enough this year that they definitely deserved a double dose of the man in red. On the 23rd we went to the Mission Mill Light Display here in Salem. It was so pretty, and I think we might make it a yearly tradition. Tucker had fun running around outside and checking out all of the cool things there.
