… this has been such a LONG week. Let me break it down for you… (sorry no pictures)
Monday: Tucker was in a decent mood. He still had some major diarrhea, but in good spirits still. I was in a decent mood, tired but tolerable. I went and got a massage Monday night… I’m beginning to think I should have waited a week for that massage.
Tuesday: Diarrhea still going strong so I called the Dr. Monday night Tucker and I didn’t go to bed until 2:00 because he had so many poopies and it was burning is little bunsies. Poor baby. He finally let me put him down at 2:00.
Wednesday: Tucker and I were both exhausted, yet he was still up at 7:20. So we went to the gym and he loved it as he always does. He seemed pretty tired, but I credited it all to being up so late. He went down for bed fine, until about 2:00. He woke up crying and I was so tired I was going to let him cry it out. David was in the front room because he already couldn’t sleep, so he came in and asked me if he should get Tucker a bottle, which I said was fine. A few minutes later I hear David call me in there urgently. I jump up and run into Tucker’s room to find Tucker and his crib COVERED in vomit. We put Tucker right into the bathtub, and he is so not feeling good. He threw up one more time in the bathtub, so I decided that we need to get him some Pedialyte. So, at 2:30 in the morning I think I was the ONLY customer at Winco. By the time I got home Tucker had thrown up again. Tucker and I then spent most of the rest of the night (until 5:00) snuggling on the couch and he also threw up 6 more times.
Thursday: VERY lazy day. Tucker didn’t throw up much at all. We just hung out at home. Thursday night bed time was pretty good, he barfed a little bit, but nothing too major.
Friday: Tucker seemed better. He was still very tired and lacked energy. We took a friend to the airport and ran a few errands, but it was obviously too much because he threw up again around 3:00. And then again last night around 6:30. This poor kid. He went to bed alright last night.
Saturday: This morning he woke up and was so drained of energy. He literally laid on the floor and crawled to where he wants to go. Then he actually sat on my lap for about an hour (which he never does) and he kept having a little cough. Then the poor kid just vomits everything in his system up. So now we have a call into the Dr. and we are just waiting to see what they say and if we go in.
I hate seeing my little baby boy sick. He’s always SO full of energy and happy. So seeing him down and out breaks my heart. We’ll let you all know how he does.

Poor little boy! It just breaks your heart to see them so miserable. When Oliver got sick we just took him in to the doctor instead of waiting to hear back. I think I call the on call doc. the night before but he was drained of energy and having trouble breathing. If I'm not able to make things better in a 48 hour period or if they continue to get worse, I would just take him in. I sure hope he feels better soon. That's rough for the both of you. :(
