Finally an Update (kind of long, fun pictures)

My oh my, I never fully realized how bust a toddler can keep a person until I had one. Tucker definitely keeps me on my toes. But it is definitely a good thing. So I figured since it’s been awhile since I’ve really done an update, I’ll take the time tonight to do one.

David

David is in the Primary now at church. He teaches the 10-year olds and he really enjoys it. The class was just boys for awhile, but they have a girl in there now. Her family is investigating and they are getting baptized the end of this month. So that is exciting for the class. Work is keeping David VERY busy these days. He is trying to wrap up budget season which means working on Saturday’s, but I can’t complain because that is time and a half…YAY! So I encourage it, knowing that it’s not every weekend. He loves his new position as a Purchasing Project Manager. He’s all moved into his office, and I’ve already gotten him frames and pictures to show off his little family. Tucker and I love going to visit him now because Tucker is able to run around like a mad man and it doesn’t bother anyone. David’s company is pending some major changes pretty soon, but so far everything is looking positive for us with these changes, so we are just crossing our fingers and saying our prayers that everything will go well.

Jenn

I am staying so  busy these days. As most of you know I am working from home part-time. I have been working for this guy since the beginning of July and it’s going great. It is very part-time, but it keeps me busy and pays for diapers. I am mostly doing office work for him, and any time that I need to go into the office I am able to bring Tucker so it is fantastic. My calling is keeping me busy as well. I am still enjoying getting to know the sisters so well, and continuing the strengthen the friendships that I have. I am working out every morning at the gym with my friend Kristi. Starting tomorrow we are going to start a weight-training program and she is going to kick my BUTT to get into shape. I am so excited! Since in January my Bunko group and I are starting a Biggest Loser, so I am going to kick some MAJOR butt! :) And, of course, Tucker and I are spending SO much time playing and hanging out we love it! :)

Tucker

Oh this boy does not stop growing and learning. He has mastered being able to stand up with any help from anything. He runs like a mad man, and loves to try and climb on things (and out of the bathtub). We finally put child-locks on the kitchen cabinets so he loves that he has more room to run now since we took the gates down. Now our favorite thing is to chase each other in a circle around the living room and kitchen. A couple of months ago we started the “cry it out” routine and it is amazing. He actually only cried for 2 nights and then he caught on. Granted we put him to sleep with a bottle, but I don’t care. He is in bed by 8:00, and sleeps usually until 7:00 or7:30. It’s great. Every night David and I sing a song and say prayers with him and Tucker loves the routine. Then, right before we put him in his crib we do a Tucker Sandwich that makes us all smile. :) Oh how we love Tucker, I could literally go on and on about him, but I won’t, I’ll save it for another post.

All in all life is good in the Mize household. Below are some random pictures. The first are of the snow this morning. It wasn’t a lot, but enough that it was fun to take Tucker out in to experience it. The rest are from playing this morning.

What kid doesn’t love the wrapping paper roll. In this picture Tucker figured out how to get it around his lips to make the horn noise. He was so excited.

Getting Stuck In The Chair

David was tightening the chairs this morning and Tucker was watching. After David left, Tucker decided he needed  to be like Daddy, and kept getting stuck.  But, without fail he still wanted to play. Here are a few good pics.

TUCKER MOSBY CLUBHOUSE

Tucker loves to hide in our hall closet. So, David and I call it the Tucker Mosby Clubhouse (kind of like the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)

If you click on this picture to make it bigger, you will see a record winning drool bomb. Yes, it’s from his chin to the floor… SICK!
