2-weeks of fun in California

Tucker and I got to spend the first 2-weeks of September in California with my family. The main reason I was there was to babysit my niece Cali and my nephew Sam, while their parents went on a trip to South America. The end of result of babysitting… I still want to have 3-kids… AND… I like the 27-month age difference. So we’ll see what comes of that. :)

We had a blast spending time with family. We spent a few days with Tory (Mike’s wife) and the girls. I got a cute picture of Tucker with his cousin Katherine…

On Labor day we went to Mike and Tory’s to swim and hang out some more with the family. Taylor had outgrown her floating thing, so Tucker was able to use it. At first he wasn’t happy, but once he got used to the water he LOVED it. We played in the pool for about 40-minutes, and then I got concerned about his fair skin in the sun, so we then played in the shade. Here’s a couple cute ones of Tucker, Taylor and I in the pool…

  One of the days we were there I was able to see my friend Allison. I haven’t seen Allison since my reception here in Portland. Since then we have both had a kid. So it was fun to meet her Son and have her meet Tucker. Here’s a picture of the 4 of us…

We also spent a lot of time with my Grandma Bailey. I was able to help my Mom get my Grandma moved from her Retirement Home to and Assisted Living Facility. It was a rough few days trying to get it all done, but we finally got her safely into her new home and settled. She is doing so much better. I got a super cute picture of Tucker with his Great Grandma Bailey…

  

We were able to spend lots of time with My Mom, and it was so much fun. Tucker LOVES his cousin Cali. They got to spend almost every day together while we were in California. So I wanted to be sure and get some cute pictures of them. So here goes…

We had so much fun in California and can’t wait to go back and visit again. I forgot to take pictures of everything, but I’m getting better. While we were there we were also able to see my friend Jamie and her new baby boy Noah. He is dang cute. And, we were able to have lunch with Amber and her 2-youngest boys. It’s always nice to get together with Amber. No matter how long it’s been, we can always pick up like we saw each other last week. I enjoyed lunch with my co-workers from Dr. Holt’s office, they are so much fun! Tucker had a BLAST crawling around in the back of church with Carson Routsong, while Kristy and I stood by and watched like 2-proud little Mommy’s. :)

For all of the friends that we weren’t able to see, I am sorry. My Mom really needed my help with my Grandma, and I wanted to be there for both of them. David and I will be in California over Christmas time, so let’s get together then. :)
