3-Months, 1-Week and 1-Day Old (Late)

So Tucker turned 3-months old last Thursday while we were in California. Things were so busy that I didn't get around to posting about it. So we are a little late, but better late than never right? :)

We can't believe that Tucker is only 3-months old, and yet we can't believe he's already 3-months old. He was weighed at the Dr. the other day and he's topping the charts at 18 pds. 12 oz., which is more than the 97th percentile. :) David always gets so excited when we weigh him and wants to know the percentile. He can't wait until Tucker is above the 100th percentile on something. :)

**Tucker is starting to move his little body all around. He has figured out that if he kicks his arms and legs hard enough he can move his whole body in circles. It's so cute.

**He loves to have bare feet so can put his feet together and intertwine his toes. He definitely got the Boehrer toes, so they are nice and long and intertwinable (is that a word...)! :)

**He loves to play with his toys with his feet now. One of these days I will get all of this cuteness on video.

**This morning topped all of the mornings since he's been born so far as his cutest morning yet. I woke up to Tucker talking SO loud and giggling. I loved it. So I rolled over and turned the monitor just in time to see him staring right at it giggling and smiling. Oh my goodness, who wouldn't want to wake up to that.

**He is giggling now and we love it so much. We weren't sure if it was a giggle at first. But now I have decided that it is just what his giggle is going to sound like. :)

**He loves to stand on his changing table and look around. I'm sure he would love it even more if he were naked because in his world everything is better naked. But in my world, everything es wetter with a naked baby. :)

**He loves to sit up and look around. But when he get's fussy he loves to sit on Mommy's lap and lean against my heart. Oh you better believe I LOVE That also.

**He recognizes when David comes into the room because he starts to kick and get excited.

**He is sleeping through the night now. He goes to bed around 10:00, sleeps until 6:45, wakes up to eat, and then sleeps until about 8:00 or 9:00. I can handle that.

**He is not nursing nearly as much now. Because I got sick my milk is starting to dry up due to the lack of nutrition and fluids. It's sad, but whatever is best for him. He nurses in the mornings and get's a few ounces throughout the day, but he is mostly on a bottle now and he has NO problems with that. I am kind of sad, but we still have our mornings.

**Tucker is definitely out of the 6-month clothes. He is definitely into the 9 to 12-month clothes now.

**Tucker doesn't have to be swaddled anymore to go to bed at night. We can lay him right down in the crib and he is fine. It's sad that he's grown out of it, but it sure makes bed time quicker and easier.

Tucker is so full of love, smiles and cheer that it overflows his little body. He is such a ray of light to have in our home. We love our time that we get to spend together as a family. Everyday David and I are amazed at how big Tucker is getting and we can't wait for all of the fun things that we have yet to experience with him.
