Week of Growing

My goodness, Tucker just keeps growing and learning new things all the time. I posted earlier this week about a new chair that I got for Tucker and he loves it. We will sit it on the coffee table and he will just sit in there and look at us, tell us stories, and smile smile smile. He also learned that he can use his hands this week for more than just to hit himself in the head and scratch his face up. He started to pick up his toys and, ofcourse, take them right to his mouth. It is dang cute. Here are some things that he has discovered/learned this week:
* We are discovering that he is SUCH a morning baby. I don't let him reach the point of crying whenever he wakes up because I don't want him to think that is how he needs to get our attention. So he is good about talking for a long time to wake us up. Once I see his eyes open in the monitor then I'll go and get him. He is all smiles when I get in there. So I change his diaper and he tells me all sorts of stories. I absolutley love it.
*He is kicking a lot harder now. When we lay him in his boppy on the couch we have to face it out now so he doesn't kick himself off of the couch. He loves to sit on our laps still in the boppy so he can kick us.
* He is becoming more and more aware of when David is home, he loves to just watch him.
* He is also starting to show a response by kicking and cooing when he hears my voice from afar. It's so cute and we love it so much!
* His legs are getting stronger so he loves it when we stand him up on things.
* His appetite is always growing. He is drinking 5-6 ounces when we give him a bottle.
* He is sleeoing longer and longer. Last night we got another 9-hour night out of him. :)
We look forward to each day with him so we can continue to watch him learn and grow.
David and I are doing well. Our ward switched from 1:00 to 9:00 and we love it. It's so easy because Tucker is our alarm clock. The only bad thing is he's usually up at 6:30, eats, naps, we get ready, then at 8:30 he's hungry again. So we'll figure it out soon. We can't believe he's already two months old. He's changed so much, but we are excited for all of the changes to come. Here are some pictures for you all. :)
Just chillin' on the couch like Daddy

Wow, so everything you said Tucker dose is exactly what Oliver does! He loves his daddy and will watch him move all over the house, he loves to kick and is a total morning kid. Lots of coos and smiles. The only thing that doesn't match up is the sleeping for long periods of time.. Once we can get Oliver off the Soy formula, I think he'll stay asleep longer.
I love the pictures of him, so cute. He totally looks like David, it's great!
