A New Year Has Begun

Ah yes, we now embark on a new year. 2009! Seriously, it is so weird that as of June of this year I will have been graduated from high school for 10 years. I don't know how I feel about that. You'll have to ask me in June! :)

So to start this post I thought I would give a brief recap of 2008 for everyone...
January
Jenn got laid off. Sad day! Jenn found a new seasonal job at an awesome Tax Office. Happy Day! David started his 2nd to last semester of school. Yay!
February

June

September
Jenn went to Calfornia for her baby shower. Jenn's Dad drove up to Oregon with her for a visit after the shower.
October
Jenn had a baby shower in Corvallis and another one in Salem.
November
Tucker was born. We celebrated Tucker's first Thanksgiving at David's parents house with Jenn's parents and David's family. David and His Dad went to the Civil War game.
December
We celebrated Christmas with David's family, and New Years Eve. We traveled to California to surprise my family with a visit.
So this last weekend David and I made a surprise visit (with the help of Dave and Rachel) to California. My whole family was together which doesn't happen very often, so we were excited to go so everyone could meet Tucker. It was so much fun. (For all of you who are reading this, we weren't able to see many people other than family. We were soo busy. We wanted EVERYONE to meet Tucker, but time was not permitting. However, hopefully atleast Tucker and I will be back down in February so where we can go around and visit EVERYONE.) Tucker was able to meet all of his Aunt's and Uncles on my side of the family. He was also able to meet Lisa and Amber, two of my best friends. On the plan ride both ways he was amazing! He slept the whole time, which made it so much easier on me. We had such a fun trip spending time with my family. We were able to stay at Bryan and Monica's while we were there and that was enjoyable as well. Bryan and Monica are so fun and relaxed. One morning Monica got up with Tucker so we could sleep, that was so nice. We really enjoyed staying with them. It was really just an awesome weekend all around. ;)
In true fashion, we brought our camera and didn't take it out of our bag once. FOR THE LOVE! But my Mom got some pictures so here is a slide show from the weekend.

I love the update of each month...I don't know if I could remember everything that we did! Lol! I'm glad Tucker was good on the plane ride- that is the best when they are asleep-it makes it much easier for you and the people around you! I'm also glad you had so much fun with your family-I'm sure they were so happy to see you and meet Tucker!!!

Ok, so it turns out that Owen's diarrhea issues were just because he's lactose intolerant, or something!! Basically, I can't eat dairy while I'm nursing. So, we wasted all those opportunities to come see you for nothing!!

Now, Owen really is sick!! :( We just need to make plans to get together and hope Owen is healthy! Let me know, maybe in like a week or two?...
