Wow, where do I begin to describe how amazing Thanksgiving was this year. On Tuesday evening my Uncle and his family drove down from Snohomish, WA to stay the night with us. We had loads of fun with them. Tuesday morning we left town around 9:00 to head down to Citrus Heights to be with my family. It's been awhile since the whole family has been together. It was so much fun. We got to my parents around 5:30, and at 6:45 we were out the door with three of my older brothers and their spouses on our way to Olive Garden for dinner, and the fun kept going from there. Dinner was crazy loud and lot's of fun. Anyone who knows my family can only imagine how loud that restaurant became. It was so wonderful! After we gorged ourselves on bread sticks, salad and pasta, we headed to Leatherby's for some ice cream. After dessert my brother Bryan and his wife Monica took David and I back to my parents and we played cards and talked until 1:00 in the morning. It was so much fun. There was some definite competition during the card game seeing as we did boys against girls, and I am ashamed to say the boys won! Oh well! My little niece Cali (Bryan and Monica's little girl) feel asleep and as they were leaving they let me wake her up and she was SO lovey and cuddly. I LOVE HER! It was a fun evening.
Thursday was so much fun as well. We got to see my brother Dan and his family during the afternoon on Thursday, they got in late Wednesday night to his in-laws. The whole family was at the house at one point or another throughout the day. We had loads of food and desserts, it was lots of fun. It's amazing how many kids there are in the family now, it seems like double the amount when they are all running around in the house. They are all so cute though. We were able to see Grandma Bailey and my Mom's Aunt and Uncle as well. So it was great to be surrounded by family.
Friday was the best day of the whole trip. The WHOLE family got together and we played kick ball. Well, some of us played and some of us observed. But we were all together, all of the kids on the field and everything. It was awesome. My family is a very competitive bunch and it was SO nice that there were NO arguments! It was so much fun. I can't wait for the next time we are all together! Later that evening we went to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. You should have seen the salad bar once we all got our plates. People in line behind us weren't so happy, they literally had to re-stock the salad bar when we were through. It was hilarious! It was a wonderful weekend.
Saturday my two brothers from Vegas headed home, so David and I went to visit some friends and just kind of hung out. We got to see my friend Amber and her family. She and I have been friends for years and it was nice to spend time with her. Then we went to see our friends Brad and Katie, we ended up having dinner with them and playing cards. It was a good time.
Sunday we headed home and really enjoyed our time together. It was an amazing weekend and lots of fun. I love this time of year and the opportunity that we have to spend time with our friends and family, those we love. It is a time that everyone reflects on what they are grateful for and thankful for. So, I thought I would share with everyone some of the things that I am grateful for.
1) I am grateful for my parents, my brothers, and their families and the wonderful people that they are. I am grateful for everything that they do for us and the love that we all have for one another.
2) I am grateful for my in-laws and how much they do for us. I am grateful to have such a good relationship with them and for the love that I feel from them.
3) I am grateful for my wonderful friends here in Corvallis. It is so nice to know that I have people I can rely on. I am so grateful for the comfort that they bring to me.
4) I am grateful for my friends from California. I am SO grateful for the relationship that we can continue to have no matter how far apart we are.
5) I am grateful for the gospel and the peace and comfort that it brings to me. I have relied so much on my Heavenly Father and am so grateful that I have never felt alone. The gospel is such an amazing gift.
6) Most of all I am grateful for my husband. He is such an amazing man. All of the things that he does for me and the comfort that he brings to me. He puts up with so much and is so kind and patient. I love him more than anything.
I hope that everyone has an amazing Holiday season. David and I are looking forward to our Christmas with his family and on to Vegas for New Years. We will have lot's more to share with you soon. We love you all!

Uh oh. If Scott doesn't get to see David at Christmas, I think he'll have withdrawals. Hopefully you'll still be there on the 28th?
