Yesterday afternoon David and I made our way down to Reser Stadium for the Beavers 3rd game of the season. After game one we still had some confidence when we beat Utah. However, game two humbled us quit bit when we got killed by Cincinnati. So, coming into game three, even though it was against a team we were pretty much guaranteed to beat, our heads weren't as high as normal. But, by the end of the game head were held high again. The final score against Idaho State was 61-10 BEAVERS WIN!
Now, I do enjoy these games. Once I get there I like the excitement of it all. But yesterdays games was painfully boring for some reason. There wasn't much excitement or action. So, by half time we were done and headed home so we could watch the USC game. For those of you who know David really well, you know that it had to be a mind-numbingly boring game for him to leave early. And, for those of you who know me, it didn't break my heart to leave.
OSU had some major stadium renovations this summer. The whole south end-zone was re-done with new bleachers and a HUGE new screen. It is officially the largest screen in the Pac-10, with a length of 80 feet. It's really nice, especially with the re-plays. They announced the official name of the screen..."DAM CAM". That was pretty fun!
I was having fun with the camera during the game, and decided to be a sports photographer so I attached two of my favorite photo's. The first on is Serna at kickoff. I think it's a pretty good shot. The second one is of Sammie Straughter, he's one of my favorite because he's from Granite Bay! I told David yesterday that I want a picture of me with Sammie Straughter (Wide Receiver) and Yvenson Bernard (Running Back) because they are pretty much awesome and my favorites! :-)
Until next time...
