Just as we are starting to feel settled here in Lynnwood, WA, things are starting to change again. In February we found out that David's company is going through a merger with a company called Brookdale in Brentwood, TN. We knew that if we were offered a position with the new company we would most likely have to move to Tennessee. Well, we were very fortunate to get an offer, and indeed we are moving to Brentwood, TN this summer. We are excited, scared, anxious, nervous and every other emotion possible. However, the adventure awaits and we are taking the first step on May 2nd. David and I are flying out to TN with Tucker and Bailey to take a look around. The kids and I have never been so it is a chance for us to look around and get a feel for the place.
This is a great move for David professionally, and as difficult as I think it may be sometimes, I know that the kids and I will make ourselves right at home and fit right in. Tucker will be starting kindergarten out there, so we are starting a whole new chapter out there with the kids lives as well. I hope that I will be more motivated now to keep up on the blog since we now have so many friends and family who live so far away. What would we do without technology to keep us in touch with all of our loved ones. :)
