We left LA on Monday, the 24th, and headed to my brothers house in Vegas. David had meetings for work scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so the kids and I were going to hang out with my sister-in-law.
We got to my brothers house around 4:00. We were so excited to see everyone. The last time we saw them was at my Grandma’s funeral last September. Bailey was only 6-weeks old then, so they were pretty much meeting a brand new Bailey. It was so much fun. We just hung out at the house Monday night and Tucker had fun getting to know his cousins.

Tuesday, David headed out to his meetings at the Golden Nugget. The kids and I spent the day with Rachel. We went and met Dave for lunch at Chevy’s, and then got some groceries at Costco. We had quite the adventure at Costco when we tried to start the car to head home and Rachel’s battery was dead. Fortunately Dave doesn’t work too far from there so he was able to come and save the day. Tuesday evening Tucker got to stay at the house and hang out with his cousins, and David and I took Bailey to my brother Dave’s softball game. It was fun to watch him play, it has been so long since I have seen any of my brothers play softball.
Wednesday morning the kids and I drove David to the hotel for his meetings so we could meet some of his co-workers. Tucker wanted nothing to do with anyone, Bailey, on the other hand, would have jumped into anyone's arms and flash her ever excited smile. I enjoyed meeting many of the people that David works with. I hear their names often, and have always put images in my head of what they look like. Some I was close, and others I was WAY off! Later that afternoon the kids and I went back to spend the afternoon and evening with David and his co-workers. We walked up and down Fremont street and had so much fun.
Bailey with some new “Friends”
David didn’t have meetings on Thursday which was a bonus because we initially thought he would. So, we used one of his co-workers hotel keys and went swimming at the pool at the Golden Nugget. It was a really cool pool that had a waterslide and a fish tank right in the middle of it. Tucker and Bailey were pretty mesmerized by all of the fish and the SHARKS!
Yeah, that’s a big shark behind us. Eeek!

We had so much fun at the pool, and both of the kids took good naps that afternoon. That evening David and I went to dinner with my two brothers, Dan & Dave, and Dave’s with Rachel. We went to the buffet at Sunset Station and it was delicious, as always! We enjoyed the food, conversation and company! Then again, it’s always fun when with my brothers.
Friday we took the kids to the strip. We had so much fun. We walked from the Excalibur through all of the hotels up to Cesars Palace. When we were in Cesars we enjoyed some delicious Gelato and caught the end of one of the statue shows. It was so fun. Then the kids got to enjoy the big fish tank in there for awhile. We walked the strip for about 5 hours, and the kids did great. We wound up playing some games in the arcade of the Excalibur, and we also made a stop in the M&M Factory. It was such a fun day!

Bailey, I think that shoe is a little big…
Fits a little better with 2 in it!
We had an amazing time on our family vacation. The kids, overall, did really great. Aside from the sleeping situation with Bailey we had a rather uneventful trip. It was so fun to see my brothers, sister-in-law and nephews, and to see David’s Sister, Brother-in-law and nephews. We hope to be able to see all of them again soon.
Bailey loved JD (my brothers dog), but after awhile JD became a little afraid of Bailey and her over loving.
Tucker loved these shoot guns (as he calls them)! I think I know what he is getting for his birthday!
