I realize it has been awhile since I have posted, sorry. This week was crazy with Scouts, Working Out, Bunco, Zumba and everything else in between. But, in all of that I did manage to get a few cute pictures of Tucker.
Tucker LOVES to explore. Any chance he gets to try and figure something out, he will sit and work at it until he gets it. I love it. It leads me to believe that in the football off season, we just might have a brain surgeon on our hands. :) Another favorite of Tucker’s lately is throwing his own diaper away. One of these days I will have to get video of it because he is always so proud of himself. He also loves to throw everything into the sink. I guess you could say he is in the phase of “putting things away”, be it in the sink, garbage, drawers, etc. It just proves he is my son because he is big into cleaning up. I LOVE IT!
The other day he found our game basket under the end table. After I emptied it of everything I don’t want him playing with, he made great use of it… as a Tucker basket. He loved playing with the dominoes that I left in the basket for him. When David got home from work, I don’t know who had more fun with the Dominoes. Just as David would start to set something up, Tucker would want to break it down. We had a slight battle of the wills in our home for awhile… in the end Tucker won. :)
Another favorite of Tuckers is pretzels. Here is a picture of Tucker trying to be like Daddy…After this precious moment, David put the bag of pretzels on the back of the couch and he and Tucker came into the kitchen to see what was for dinner. A few minutes later, David and I realize that Tucker was not in the kitchen anymore. So we turn the corner to the family room and find this (sorry it’s blurry, but this is the caught red-handed picture)…
The little stinker climbed up onto the couch, snagged the bag of pretzels off of the back of the couch, squatted down and helped himself to him. Once he realized we were watching this was his reaction…
How could you get mad at that cheesy little grin? He loves pretzels SO much. I don’t mind because it’s better than eating candy right. Here is one more “pretzel”picture just because it’s cute.
Another favorite of Tucker’s lately is our little ottoman/blanket stool. He loves to take all of the blankets out, so we have decided to beat him to the punch and not put them in there anymore. Today he spent about 15-minutes playing with his ball popper toy while kneeling in his stool. He is so silly…
So that’s about it for us right now. Life is good, we can’t complain. David’s job is going well. My job is GREAT (being a Mom). We are loving life. Tucker and I leave for California next Sunday, then on he 18th we are driving to Vegas with my parents. We’ll be there for a week or so, and then we’ll be back home here on the 25th. My goal now is to take more pictures than normal because let’s be honest… words are much more fun with pictures! :)
