Today I am grateful for the many veterans in our lives. I, like many of you probably, have been blessed to have 4 of them in my life. My Dad, my Uncle Jerry, my Grandpa Boehrer, and my Grandpa Bailey. All 4 of these men are amazing! I know that each and every one of them risked their lives for us to be able to live in this amazing Country. I am so grateful for the men and women who serve our country today. On my mission I was able to serve in a military branch among the families of servicemen and the servicemen themeselves. I gained an even greater respect for not only the men and women who serve our Country, but also for their families who support them. Often times families didn't know where their loved ones were, or when exactly they would return. All they could do was pray for them everyday and try to go on as normal. And in return their loved ones are out risking their lives for ALL of us with little to no contact with their families.
I hope that each and every day we all remember the wonderful men and women who serve our country, as well as their families. I hope that we remember them in our prayers and thoughts, not just during the Holidays or on certain days of the year, but every day! These wonderful men and women are out defending our country so we can sit here and post on our blogs whatever we want to say, so we can practice our religion no matter what it is, so we can have an opinion in all that we do. What an amazing thing it is!

Great post. I love Veteran's Day because it forces people to reflect. I love you.
Agreed, good post. I interned at the Veteran's Hospital in SF and now hate the military hospitals for the way they treat their veterans. It is ugly and a lot of other things I could say. I mean these people fought for our freedom, lives, our country and arck!
What an honor to have close relatives as veterans! It is amazing what freedoms we enjoy because of these heroic people who die sometimes in honor of our free country. :) Thanks for this post!
