I was raised to always obey my mother. Now, I will be the first to tell you that I have not made it through life with a 100% in obedience, however, I would give myself a 90%.
I got an e-mail from my Mom today telling me that I needed to post something new on my blog so that she would have something to read while at work when she's bored. Funny Mom! :)
Anyway, so I thought I could update everyone on the happenings in the Mize home. Not much! Ha Ha Ha No really though. Life is good for us. I am trying to get over a nasty cold, but surviving nonetheless. I love my job and the people I work with are amazing. I enjoy going to work everyday. David is all registered for his LAST term of school. YAY! That is good news. He is going to have a hairy schedule next term. He only has class on Monday and Wednesday, but it's from 8:00 until 7:00 I think. So, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will be filled with studying and work. It will be good though. He is excited for his classes. I don't know if he's more excited for the classes themselves, or the fact that it's his last term. Either way, it's going to be good. This current term ends on March 21st, then he has a week for Spring Break, and then March 31st starts the ending! YAY!
It is so interesting to think of what is to come. We don't know yet where we are going, but all we have ever known in our married life is Corvallis, OR with me working full time and David in school. It's so exciting to think of all of the things that are going to change and the adventures that will come with the changes. It's a little scary because I'm starting to feel like we have perfected this way of life that we have become accustomed to, with the whole living in a small town, in a ghetto apartment, broke college students, making the best of what we have. In the famous words of my brother Dave, "It can't get any worse than this." And I don't even think this is that bad. I hope no one takes this out of context, I have truly enjoyed my time here in Corvallis, but I know that there is so much more out there for David and I, and I can't wait to take on the adventure. Don't worry, I'll make sure to keep you all posted as life happens! :)
