I cannot believe that our little Bailey Bug is 10-months old. Where has the time gone. She is growing so much, and we love her even more now than ever… if that is even possible. : )
She officially has 2 teeth now, and seems to be in a much better mood since sprouting them. Tucker was not a bad teether, but where he lacked Bailey made up for. She did NOT sleep well, and was a grouch, so we are all glad that these teeth have made their way through.
Despite her teething moments, she is a little angel. She has a smile that can light up a room. No matter what kind of mood you are in, all you have to do is look at her and she will smile as big as the room, and your day is better. She is crawling EVERYWHERE! I swear she has a 6th sense that tells her when an outside door is open, and she starts run-crawling to the door. She LOVES it when people come to our door. She gets so excited that she nearly kicks her way out of our arms if we are holding her. She absolutely loves her brother still, which makes this Mommy’s heart happy. She loves to climb all over him, and play with his toys. Tucker is so good with her, but at times he wants to close his door so he can play without having to worry about her. It bums me when he wants to do that, but I just remind myself that it doesn’t mean he doesn’t love her. She also loves her Daddy to pieces. If he is still home when she wakes up in the morning, she gets so excited when she sees him. She is definitely becoming my little shadow though, and I love it… at times. My favorite thing was when I was getting ready for the day a couple of weeks ago, she wanted up on the bed with my while I put my makeup on. So I handed her a brush and she loved eating it (as she does everything), but she also liked the way it felt on her sweet little face. Seriously, she is such a little love bug. I love her! She loves bath time with her brother. If Tucker is not in the bath with her, she wants out shortly after she is done being washed. She loves to splash him, and sit and watch him play with the toys. Nothing bothers her more than when we are on our bed and she is on the floor. I swear she thinks there is a party up there or something. She will whine, and cry, and get all mad, then as soon as we pick her up she is laughing and screeching. Oh…. the screeching. I am going to have to get a good video of it, but for crying out loud! She has the most high pitched screech. It is cute for about the first minute, then it is so annoying. But, it is who she is. She is slowly getting the nickname of bird because that is what she sounds like. Almost like the bird on Little Mermaid when he tries to sing. :) Here are some current pictures…
She loves popsicles, especially when she is teething. They must feel so good on her gums! :)
She sure does love her Daddy snuggles
