Mother’s Day Weekend

We had quite the busy weekend. It was jam packed with fun, friends and family. So here’s a breakdown of our Mother’s Day Weekend.

FRIDAY

My 2 cousins from Washington were playing in a Volleyball tournament in Corvallis. So David and I headed down to watch them play. We were able to sit and visit with my Aunt Debbie and Uncle Don while the girls played. It was an enjoyable evening. Tucker loved “cheering” with everyone. Here are a few pictures of the evening.

Saturday

Saturday afternoon we went to lunch with a group of friends for some birthdays. My birthday is the 19th, Erin’s was 4/26 and Kristi’s was 5/2. So we all decided to do one big birthday lunch. I was a dork and didn’t bring my camera, so no pictures from that. We had a good time, good food and good company. :)

Saturday evening we went to the Nickelback concert with our friends Aubrey and Landon. It was SO much fun. Aubrey was able to score box seats through her work. So she decided to take David and I for my birthday! :) They sure do put on a great show. The biggest downfall was that the bands felt  it necessary to swear so much. But I guess that’s what I get for going to a rock concert, right?

  Sunday

Sunday morning David and Tucker made me breakfast in bed. The traditional eggs, sausage, toast and OJ. It was so yummy. After breakfast I got my cards which were so fun as always. We lounged around all morning until it was time to get ready for church. Church was good, we got delicious Mother’s Day truffles after Sacrament. Yum! :) In the afternoon my Aunt, Uncle and cousins finished up with the volleyball tournament so they were able to come for dinner. We bbq’d and sat around and enjoyed the good company. David was WONDERFUL and took care of Tucker all day. For my Mother’s Day gift I got a personal trainer. :) I asked for it. It’s actually a boot camp that Landon (from the concert) does. Hopefully I can stick to it so it works! :)

Tucker decided to make a crayon mural on his wall for Mother’s Day.

I so do love this baby boy! :) Mother's Day

All in all it was a WONDERFUL Mother’s Day weekend. As busy as it was, I enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait until it comes around again! :)
