Lot's Of Updates
(all of the pictures are at the bottom because blogger is being dumb and won't let me do it any other way right now.)
Tucker has been sick the last week or so, which makes for some sleepless nights and an exhausted Momma. So, I've neglected the blog. Sorry! Here's the best update I can muster up right now...I suppose we can start with last Wednesday. Tucker had been coughing really bad for about 4 nights, so we decided that we should take him in to get checked. While at the Dr.'s office Tucker was weighed, and I think his weight is slowing down. At his 6-month check-up on May 19th, he weighed 26 lbs. 2 oz., and last Wednesday he weighed 27 lbs. 2.5 oz., a pound in a month is actually slowing down for him. But the Dr. said that his cough should go away soon... hopefully!
Friday Tucker turned...7-MONTHS OLD! My goodness, seriously, he's 7-months old! I can't believe it. He just keeps growing and growing. 7-month old and this is what he does...
His newest trick is that he can wave, and it is so darn cute. I promise I will get a video of it this week and post it. He doesn't wave with his hand, he waves his whole arm, it's hilarious!
*He is beginning to show interest in crawling. He definitely has scooting backward down to a science.
* If he wakes up at night, he finds his binki and puts it back into his mouth all by himself... I LOVE THAT!
* He holds his own bottle. He is a master at home, in the car he is still working on holding it high enough.
* He is learning how to pull himself up... NOT a fan of that!
* He is TOTALLY content sitting on the floor and playing with his toys.
* He literally smiles at everyone.
* He will follow us from a distance with his eyes.
* He LOVES to share fudge pops with his Daddy.
* Starting to scoot on his butt a little bit.
* His hair is coming in more now, and it definitely has a red hue to it. I'm OK with that.
Friday night we headed up to David's parents house for the night. David's sister and her family moved back to Oregon from North Carolina so it was good to see them. David and I were wanting to go to the Temple on Saturday but Tucker decided to only let me get 3 hrs. of sleep that night. It was NOT a good night for us. So David went to the Temple with his best friend Scott and he said that he enjoyed that. Later Saturday morning we went to Scott's little sisters baptism, and then to the luncheon afterward. We were glad to see Scott, His Wife Abbie and their daughter Ella. They live in Virginia right now so we only get to see them once a year or so. Saturday night we came home and went to bed as soon as possible... I was beat!* If he wakes up at night, he finds his binki and puts it back into his mouth all by himself... I LOVE THAT!

Sunday...HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! David was finally able to celebrate Father's Day. All day was all about David, so not much different than any other day. He was able to watch his nascar, and some baseball game I think, and ESPN all day long... after church of course. I made him some delicious cheese cake as well as a yummy dinner. For Father's Day, he got his gift about a month ago. Our receiver has been dying so he got to buy a new receiver that he has been eyeing for awhile. And, with all of his research he got it for over $100 less than any other seller. :) YAY for David! Tucker and I took great care of David, he even got a picture of it... (see pictures below) Hey, we were really tired from the night before. But, I will say that we did take good care of David. He was treated like a KING! He didn't have to change one single diaper!
Why do we spend money on toys for Tucker. See all of those toys in the bathtub... see what he's playing with. My goodness... at least he's happy right! :)
This is Tucker and I taking good care of David on Father's Day. Trust, if we hadn't have gotten this nap, Father's Day wouldn't have been so good. Plus, David was watching his race, he was fine. :)
Tucker and His older cousins; Riley, Teddy and Joshua. They all had SO much fun in the bathtub at Grandma's house.
The 5 Mize cousins; Riley (5), Levi(5-months), Teddy (3), Tucker (7-months) and Joshua (2)
Tucker in His friend Gavin's bumbo. Yeah... he's pretty much squeezed in there. He is wearing a diaper, it's just hidden. :) He actually really liked sitting in it.

Tucker is so big! Chloe is 11 lbs. and 24 inches and going to be 5 months old tomorrow...Wow! He is freaking cute though! I love his sitting pic in that little chair, and looks like he has no diaper. :)
Bella loves kitchen utensils as well. I got her a mini set of pots, pans and gadgets from Ikea. She LOVES it. I got the idea from Jen; Maddy has one too and loves it also.
